European Short Handed Poker Championships 24th - 28th September 2014

Hi All,

Just a quick post to give the dates for the upcoming "European Short-Handed Poker Championship 24th - 28th September" this is europe's largest 6 max event and this year we again hope to increase the number of participants on last years 1086.

The "Winamax Poker Open" will again be our main event and the full schedule can be found here: https://www.winamax.fr/en/winamax-po...n_presentation

I will post further details of this event over the coming weeks.

It is highly likely that this event will sell out, to reserve a seat fill out the registration form on the link above or please email brian[at]d4events.com (advance payment is required in order to secure your seat)

Best event of the year!

Link above is not working, I believe this is the correct link to the event: https://www.winamax.fr/en/winamax-po...ion_structures

Is there a reason why levels on Day 1 are now 45 minutes (or 50 minutes on the other page) instead of 60 minutes all the way like the other years?

Is one re-entry per day allowed or one re-entry overall (total of 2 entries max) ?

I agree with this, why the need for change when the event's already hugely successful using the previous structure. I'm guessing to encourage re-entries which I don't agree with at all.

Hi Viper, Sorry for delay in answering we have been away.

We are expecting a large increase in numbers this year and rather than add an extra day the most sensible thing to do is reduce the starting days blind levels to 50 minutes therefore allowing us to finish the event in the early hours of Monday.

One re-entry per day is allowed.

Hope to see you there

The blind levels have been reduced to 50 minutes on starting days in order to finish the event in 3 days, it has nothing to do with encouraging re-entries, last year we finished at 6am on Monday morning, this decision was taken on the fact that 97% of the players participating in the event have flights to catch on the Monday.

last year people late regging for ages. They won't turn away your €65 reg, they're not prejudice.

@PokerPiper the 200 & 300 side events last year were 6max, I would assume that this will be the case this year too. I played the 300 side event last year and was waiting 2 hours for a table seat as the main was so busy there were no free tables. So if you intend on playing you should get there early.

All the events are 6 max. Judging by the first event today which surpassed our expectations by miles and was full 15 minutes before it was due to start it would be advisable to get down as early as possible to register for side events. We will do our very best to seat everyone who wants to play but can't guarantee it and the later you arrive the more likely you will be on an alternates list.

Late reg is 6 levels. Registration is open now for all events so you can get in them early.

Friday evenings events are the ones most likely to sell out as the amount of tables available depends on ME event numbers. We have 20 more tables than last year so there should be a good few available by the time they start.

At least you've apologised for the lack of organisation with the turbo game today.
