Well, 3 out of 4 aint bad I suppose. I gave Allen, Selby and Gould, all on the handicap that came up trumps, while i also gave Carter on the handicap which let me down.

For the quarters, Im just doing an accum of robertson, Allan, Murphy and selby, and a single on Selby. I think Selby has the game to do Ronnie, although I am aware that Ronnie can sometimes be unbeatable. 1 thing for sure, its going to be a cracking match, but I think the value is with selby.

Lovely semi lineup. I've taken the winnings from lying O'Sullivan and put it on Selby, laid a little bit of Robertson off and had a small punt on the other two, so I'm guaranteed a profit on this event.

John Higgins to be exposed in the 'News Of The World' tomorrow for massive match fixing. £250,000 involved & will be devestating & carer threatening for Higgins.

Wow...

UK championships.

Always reknowned as the 2nd most important tournament on the callender, its also the 2nd best tournament of the year for punters, because with all the matches being best of 17, there's less likely to be upsets. Some players are built for the longer matches and thrive on it.
With Ronnie, Higgens, Ding (holder) and Selby all in the top half, the bottom half is quite open. I fancy Sean Murphy to come through from this half. he loves the longer matches and is in great form this year. At 10/1 for the tournament, he's my e/w bet for the tourney.

On tomorrows matches, Neil Robertson, John Higgens and Mark Selby seem to be a shoe-in, while Graham Dott and Ding Junhui also look good at decent prices. Even though the odds on the 1st 3 mentioned is a bit prohibitive, the last 2 matches mentioned are decent enough and a 5-timer on these pays a little over 4/1 (all imho of course)

Bump for the world championships.

I think John Higgins is a good bet to win it this year. He'll be psyched up big time to win it, with so many points to prove. He's at his best when he's really motivated and is close to unstoppable at the peak of his game.

Looking to back Higgins to win the final 18-8/18-9/18-10

Do i have to back each score individually? Can't seen to find a market that gives a 3/4 correct score spread similar to rugby scores etc.

PaddyPower odds are 22/1, 17/1, 15/1
Boyles are 25/1, 20/1, 18/1
Betfair are 25 , 19, 17.5

I think it will be much tighter than that Tony. I wouldnt be surprised actually if the young lad won it. Twould be a great boost for the game in general. He has captured the publics immagination, much the same way that Paul hunter did when he came on the scene. If Higgens misses the same amount of balls as he did in the semi against Williams, then for sure Trump wins.

I think with his experience Higgins will come thru by 3-5 frames. Trump is a breath of fresh air, reminds me a lot of Jimmy White, fantastic potter.
