I came across a list Esquire produces of the best podcasts each year.

This is the list of 2018: https://www.esquire.com/entertainmen...podcasts-2018/

2019 so far: https://www.esquire.com/uk/latest-ne...podcasts-2019/

The two I'll try that jumped out at me across both lists was Caliphate from 2018: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/19/p...e-podcast.html

Also, Fatwa about the fatwa issued against Salman Rushdies after the release of The Satanic Verses : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06zgrqc

Anyone else using Pocketcasts? What are they thinking with the update? It is awful.

A couple of podcasts, some new and some revisted.

Ive recently got back on to Revisionist History by Gladwell http://revisionisthistory.com

I came across this Trump podcast https://www.propublica.org/series/trump-inc after the recent Ivy League admission scandal.

Also Sam Harris has a podcast with Kahneman now too, I'm still to get to that but I suspect its good

Joe Ingram has been hitting the podcasts hard lately after taking an extended break from making them. I realise their isn't the same interest in poker these days but some of them end up being about much more and are very interesting listens. He did one with Garrett Adelstein who is a live high stakes player which I think is a very good listen in parts.

The Hurricane Tapes from the BBC was fascinating. You’ll know the basis of the story from the film The Hurricane starring Denzel Washington.
