1. Improve standing in Waterford Masters Satellite league
2. Get FTP bankroll above 50USD and keep it there (about 47USD at the moment. Have been hovering about this level for too long).
3. FR beginnings of bankroll on poker stars. It's not too difficult to make it inside the bubble of the nightly UK & IRL FR.

For me it would be building my dicipline,
i can be running well, making slow steady profit, then bang go on tilt and blow it all.

Plan to make one reload and never have to again

which begs the question

how much is needed realisticly for a starting bankrole you can build up upon?

Game: Nl Holdem
Current room: Boyles Poker

Open to suggestions, new rooms etc.

im new on the irish scene, been playing poker online since i was 16, i turned 18 last December, so all advice appreciated

I have been all over the internet in terms of micro stakes, I would advise two things. Find a bonus that is easily clearable at the level you are playing. Get HEM and use it, always, and use it to go back over everything you've done.

I'm guessing you've already deposited at Boyles, and the bonus is now gone. I would advise moving to Everest, and clearing their bonus there. Its very clearable even at 10nl, which is where I did it. This can double your bankroll if you're playing B/E poker.

Realistically, $300 is the bare minimum for starting off, don't play Micro stakes anywhere without a bonus / rakeback as rake at the small levels is absolutely killer. Move to 10c/20c when you have $600, but be prepared to put in the hours/effort needed. For every hour of poker played, you should be putting in at least half of that again reading poker forums/ hands / coaching guides.

Register at 2+2 and constantly look at this page http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/69...-stakes-pl-nl/

Follow what the reg's say about certain situations, and actually learn from it!

If you do plan on moving to Everest, PM me about the signup bonus if you want more info. Can PM me about anything else I've said too.

1) Move to Fulltilt, clear deposit bonus. 25K hands, in profit and back rolled for 50NL by the end of the month.

2) Post hand histories, discuss theory.

Non-poker

3) Run regularly.
1) Massive fail, didn't play a single hand. Had no internet for the first three weeks of the month so decided just to take the whole month off.

2) Fail, didn't even read any theory or watch any vids.

3) Fail, only went out twice I think. Basketball twice a week is getting me fitter but not enough.

So all in all a pretty successful month

have moved almost exclusively to 2table SnG's at stars, and seem to be crushing them, with a 35% ROI so far. Only a small sample.

Have pissed money away playing big field MTT's, but have enjoyed pissing this money away more so than losing a big hand in a cash game.

3 - Got off to decent start but had a bit of a downswing in the last week or so, still in decent shape and got plenty of hours in so happy enough.

4. Play and cash in Dusk Til Dawn's £50 deepstack.
1. Gone bonus whoring. Signed up at Full tilt and am $80 into my bonus.
2. Played 9k hands, which is pretty good considering my account was locked out for ~ten days. Rush poker is good for that.
3. Done.
4. Played but did not cash.

Well that was the worst two months of poker of my life. Old lappy gone busto, but results are something like:

NLHE EV: €800
NLHE Profit: €25
PLO EV: €1500
PLO Profit: -€200
Live Cash: -€150

Only saviour was being up about €2500 in tourneys, and about €3000 in sportsbetting.

Feck all volume too cos of study, only about 25k hands over the 2 months.
