All weather racing log

It's been a while since there's been a racing log ( where did Amber leaf go?) so I'll give it a go for the All weather.

1000 pt starting bank , backing each horse to increase the bank by 5% of what it was after each winner .

Air of York 21:10 Chelmsford. Even after recent work on the surface there still seems to be a big bias towards speed. Drawn 1 with Kirby up he will be away and gone it will just depend if he can last home.

5.6 @ 9/1 balance 994.4

Should probably retire the log now John! Kirby is a genius with the fractions round the tight UK AW tracks. Mostly Uk , Dundalk is a lot fairer track since they put the cutaway in so fewer hard luck stories.

Call it the Captains log and retire on a high.lol
Keep it going if I hear the odd bit of info I'll pass it on and help keep the pot over the 1000 points.

Nice to kick off with a winner. There was a rule 4 on the 9/1 but for simplicity I'm just going to round it up .

Bank: 1050
T.I. : 5.6
To win off next bet : 52.5

No A.W. Until Tues.

16:40 Wolv John Caesar 6.6 @ 8/1 pp

Was having his first run back on the AW lto since he finished 2nd at kemp on his last run for Jeremy Noseda. Travelled well in rear before being forced very wide off the last bend and ran on well to the line. The extra furlong should be a help.

the fav is a non runner which is a pity as I didn't see him as a danger.

Another 2.5 @ 11/2 to make up for the R4.

No joy yesterday with John Caesar beaten two necks.

Bank: 1040.9
T.I. : 14.7
Win off next bet : 61.6

Plenty of pace in the last at Chelmsford, bogsnog is a strong traveller in his races and should be able to sit handy from a good draw.

I know you like your AW racing - ATR doing an AW tipping competition with 10k in prizes (runs for the Winter)...

Poor run from Bogsnog the last day.

Bank : 1029.8
T.I. : 25.8
Win off next bet: 72.7

Right Madam 5.2 @ 14/1. 16:40 Wolv.

Looks like a very poor race so she will probably never get a better chance to lose her maiden tag. Didn't have the best of runs through her last race and could certainly have finished closer with stronger handling. The trainers last two runners at Wolly have won and while she is no cert 14/1 looks a bit big.

Right madam got a strange ride the last day i reckon she will pick up a bad race soon enough.

Bank : 1024.6
T.I. : 31
Win off next bet : 77.9

Speculative punt tomorrow on Age of innocence 13:40 Southwell. His one decent run was on his only visit to Southwell, He finished a staying on 4th over 6f with a couple of proven Southwell performers ahead of him. Trainer has plenty of winners here so I'm hoping the extra furlong and first time visor do the trick.

Fandango 1810 Kemp. Should come on a fair bit from his nice debut, has a derby entry so must have shown shrewd trainer something. Having been green early , the penny only dropped in the straight and he coasted home. A big galloping type , the long straight at kemp should suit.

Nouveau Foret , Hasn't been placed too well but has improved on his last two starts at Chelmsford, hoping he will be ridden closer to the pace and go one better.

16.5 @ 11/2

Carson gave that quite a shocker, beaten an ever diminishing head having been involved in a series of barging matches throughout.

Bank: 995.5
T.I. 60.1
Win next bet: 107

Going to give Right Madam one last try in the 1950 Wolly.

Hey Dice , I was putting in a below average performance in this but managed to pick 5 nice priced winners today to top the daily leader board and move up about a thousand spots in the overall.

A couple of frustrating seconds recently, hopefully break the losing streak today.

Bank : 988.9
T.I. : 66.7
Win next bet : 113.6

Gild Master 1940 CC. Caught the eye of the stewards two runs back in a handicap. He was then dropped in trip and into a maiden for his next run and ran creditably behind a Godolphin horse and an odds on fav. Steps back up in trip and returns to a hcap .

17.5 @ 13/2
