Was reading on 2+2 that this tournament has been delayed for 24 hours with 27 players left after over 1m in fake 5k tournament chips were found
I'm not convinced by the exact numbers because 4812 players/re-entries each with a 20k starting stack created a total chip count of 96,240,000. It's now down to 27 players with an average stack on ~3.56m but surely. Allegedly there is 97,370,000 chips in play so a discrepancy of 1,130,000 chips. Chip counts would definitely differ due to chipping up etc, but they reckon there are 218-226 fake 5k chips in play.
Some people would play said there were 3 different type of 5k chips in play. These are 2 of them.
So there's 27 players left, all guaranteed $8,140 each, with a top prize of $372k.
450 people in total played, with a mincash of just over $1k
If you were the TD, how would you rule in this situation?
There's talk of a chip chop for remaining players, all players that didn't cash receiving a refund, play on but escrow the cash waiting on investigation and others.
P.S Men the Master is not long busted, and most people want to point the finger.
