There may have been something happening before the video coverage but to me it looks like Lewis was losing, the guy just hit a 177 to have 3 darts at double to go 1 leg from winning the match with his throw next and Lewis walks up to the Oche fast to catch opponent on the back of the heel on purpose. The rest is on the video but personally I feel the opponent played a blinder by just laughing at Lewis, great matchplay tactic in the situation. Only place he was unlucky was with his bounce out of T20 on 181 in last leg.

Decent match there between Gurney and Price. Lovely 148 and 136 finishes from Price, and a classy last leg to snatch a point.

Interesting stat from the earlier game involving Suljovic. In his 3 games so far, his opponents have only missed 13 darts at doubles. That's pretty sick!

Classic between Anderson and MVG. MVG just missed Treble 19 on a 9 darter, and Anderson takes out 170 to take his 3rd leg on the trot to go 3-2 up!

Lost count of the 180s after 6 legs. 117 average each.

Will be sorry to see Mensur bow out (most likely) next week on Judgment Night. He's been unfortunate... great averages just ran into some bad spots.

Delighted that annoying prick Price is gone and rightfully bottom of the league.

Loving the Premier League this year... been some great matches and ups & downs

6 x 180s in the first 2 legs between MVG and Suljovic. Both players having a shot at 141 for a 9-darter!

Sad day for darts. Too young at 60.

The amount of times i did the mugs bet of 4/5 draws on the night, and never got it up.

3 games in, and 3 x 6-6 results so far with 1 game to go. Not a bean on it. Standard

Dont think youve been watching a lot of darts other than premier league and the world championships!. Not a bad line up at all. Definitely nothing to remark too negatively at imo. About 2 players maybe 3 that look over matched against anyone they come up against.

Defo looks to be some weaker groups than normal. I haven't really seen some of these BDO guys in action. Groups F+G look like they could a few different ways, and Group H looks like a fun one! Did Chizzy not make it through qualifying?

Qualifying details here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_G...rts#Qualifying

It seems fair enough from the PDC side - get to the final of a big event, or win a Euro tour event. No reason why Adrian Lewis, Chisnall or Gurney (the big 3 omissions I can spot) shouldn't have been able to manage this.
The last 8 PDC places going to a one-off blitz tournament could probably be done better though, and leads to some of the dodge names in Pot 3.
Two place for 'youths' maybe excessive also.

No idea of the merits of the BDO qualifying system, though a shame that the likes of Scott Waites and Adams didn't make it as they at least have name recognition.

5-6 years ago he was very good and was one that was definitely expected to make the step across, seemed to lose his way alright and has been woefull the last few years,be interesting to see if he gets his old form back.
