Hi Lank ,
Aplogies for delay on coming back on this. The town is fairly booked up on all weekends in Galway as you can imagine. We have got the following rates in the Connacht hotel (formally the Carlton)

Thurs/Fri. Fri/Sat
Single. 147.60. 184
Twin. 187.20. 248
Triple. 232.20. 301.50

The above price is for the two nights and is the total cost , it includes breakfast both days and we will also be providing free taxi from hotel to and from the club for anyone staying there.

If people want to book this they can do so direct with the hotel 091-381200 or can call the club any evening on 091-569222 and we will organise same.

If people want to stay in a different hotel please call the club and we will see can we get ye a discounted rate.

Many thanks

Pat

20 qualifiers in our cash league final last night, congrats to all , another 18 tickets up for grabs next Saturday in our tourney league final.
Also a few queries if people are knocked out on day 1a and play 1b the buy in is 225 not 250 (ie no reg) .
Omaha on Thursday night is a one day event should go quite late as a lot of interest (7 tickets alone from mini league in the club alone )

Chieftain week

Hi Folks

Our chieftain week has arrived and we will be running sats in the club throughout the week as follows:

Chieftain sats (20k gteed)
mon 9pm buy in 20+5 rebuys/addons 10
wed 8pm 45+5 freezeout
thurs 9pm buy in 20+5 rebuys/addons 10

warrior sat
(omaha treble chance 200 buy in 180+20)
tues 9pm buy in 15+5 rebuys addons 10

to give an idea of expected minimum numbers

currently we have given out 60 tickets for the chieftain through our various leagues and larger tournaments (a number of people have won double enteries etc ) which leaves 45 individuals already qualified before this weeks sats and walk ups at the weekend , we would fully expect a minimum of 120 runners for the chieftain (27k) prizepool.

the warrior (omaha treble chance ) has 10 tickets already out through leagues and early buy ins and at a minimum will have 30 runners

anyone who wants to reserve a ticket by credit card can ring the club any night after 9pm and this will guarantee choice of starting day (091-569222) that said still plenty of room on both starting days (friday more popular at the moment)

any other queries please post here , ring us after 9pm , or send a message via facebook or twitter.

Thank you and hopefully see you all at the weekend

Hi folks just to update on how the weekend has been going. Thursday night we had our €200 Omaha (warrior of the tribes) which attracted 39 runners and a prizepool in excess of €7k , a big thanks to those who travelled from the north Kildare Dublin & Cork.

Last night was day 1a of the chieftain main event which attracted 68 runners , 27 made it through to Sunday , prizepool will be in excess of €25k , we have day 1b today which starts at 6pm

All results and chip counts are posted on the website and I will post all results here on Monday once we have them to hand . For now just a big thank you to everyone who has turned up so far and made it such an enjoyable weekend and look forward to seeing many more for day 1b

Many thanks
Pat

I appreciate you've been dead for a few years now but you come across as a very grumpy man. It only takes a couple of seconds to type a few letters into google......
