100K GTD - GGPoker Masters - March 23-24 - CityNorth Hotel, Dublin

Hi all! GGPoker and the IPS team are partnering up to bring you the GGPoker Masters event, a €100,000 guaranteed tournament with two online Day 1s, two live Day 1s, followed by a live Day 2. I'll try to fill out the required template in my next post, but here is the press release:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
€100K GGPoker Masters To Hit Dublin On March 23-24
€350 Main Event to feature multiple online and live Day 1 flights

Dublin, Ireland – January 3, 2019: GGPoker today announces details of its €100,000 guaranteed GGPoker Masters tournament, which will take place in March 2019 and is run in partnership with the acclaimed Irish Poker Series team.

The main event features a €350 ($400) buy in and boasts four Day 1 flights; two online (Day 1A on Sunday, March 17 and Day 1B on Thursday, March 21) and two live (Day 1C and Day 1D both taking place on Saturday, March 23). The GGPoker Masters will conclude with Day 2 on Sunday, March 24 and will also be supported by various side event tournaments.

The CityNorth Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, which is located within 25 minutes of Dublin Airport, will play host to Day 1C, Day 1D and Day 2 of the GGPoker Masters.
Satellites to the GGPoker Masters launch at GGPoker on Thursday, January 10, with daily $5 feeders leading to $33 super satellites.

Players that win GGPoker Masters Day 1 tickets can use them to register for their preferred Day 1 flights, with all online flights featuring re-entries. Players can also choose to play multiple Day 1 flights and if they retain chips at the end of more than one flight, the largest stack will be brought forward into Day 2.

There’s nothing that gets the blood pumping like playing in a big tournament, so we’re thrilled to reveal the good news about the upcoming GGPoker Masters to our players,” said Paul Burke, Head of GGPoker. “We have some special incentives planned for those who win their GGPoker Masters tickets online; players should keep an eye on their inboxes for all the details!”

Irish Poker Series is delighted to be involved with GGPoker and to have been given the opportunity to bring the GGPoker Masters to the Irish and UK poker community,” said Brian Lannon of Irish Poker Series. “The online satellite qualifiers gives all players the ability to participate in what will be a fantastic event.”

New GGPoker players are eligible to claim the poker room’s 200% First Deposit Bonus, worth up to $1,000 in bonus cash, and automatically join GGPoker’s Fish Buffet loyalty programme, spinning for cash prizes each time they reach a new status level.

BTW $5 daily feeders for this should start next week, and as always I'll have free tickets for the good people of IPB

We're a stricter poker room than most when it comes to playing for real money (basically you'll need to have your ID verified in advance of depositing or playing for real money), so if anyone is interested I'd recommend setting up your account and going through the verification process AHEAD of me shipping you a $5 ticket.

City North Hotel - Co Meath

City North Hotel - I take its this one in Co. Meath

https://www.citynorthhotel.com/en/ho...rt-directions/

While it is 25 mins driving from Dublin Airport its not in Dublin.

Dublin is big enough without trying to take over the Royal county as well.

The Mathews coach service from Dublin stops outside the hotel.

Right - have $5 daily feeder tickets to hand out. The feeders start from tomorrow and as mentioned above, players should really try to validate their accounts ahead of logging in and registering.

Please let me know your GGPoker nickname and I'll fire a ticket your way!

Hi Paul. Do you have a deal with Hotel for rooms. If so, what are room rates and how do we make a booking?

I believe the rates the IPS guys have secured is €99/night room only, but I'll need to confirm and will also find out if any particular hoops need to be jumped through to get that rate.

There will definitely be side events, but will wait for the IrishPokerSeries guys to confirm. I think it is likely that there will be one on Friday evening, and another on Sunday early afternoon.

Only been running for a few days so I'm guessing it is likely some of the daily feeders won't run on occasion, at least for the first few weeks.

The $5s have been running this week. They've all ran so far.
