I'm contacting paddy power support but I'll also post here.

I was playing the seat sat tonight (SameOldFears on paddy). Got to heads up, I had 15k, opponent had 7.9k chips. Blinds were 200/400. Servers went down for nearly an hour. They come back, tourney resumes, we play one hand of 200/400 then the blinds go to 2000/4000 so, two all ins, lose both finish 2nd win nothing.

Surely the tournament was supposed to be cancelled, our buy ins refunded and prizepool split between the two of us?

*edit* Support said any hands played will be reviewed and refunded accordingly. Said to wait a day.

Seems like a total f*ck up, I'd be raging if that happened to me. When the servers were down for an hour were you in contact with the support and if so what did they say at the time? An hour's a long time..

Refund and splitting the prize fund would be the minimum you should be expecting, although probably giving you both a ticket would be the best from a PR perspective.

Didn't hear a thing for a few days, so I emailed paddy power Wednesday morning, haven't heard anything back at all. It is very shitty. Also I've managed to finish 2nd in the last 4 of the sats to add to the frustration.

I won a ticket for this on PPP about 6 weeks ago but have not heard anything from them in relation to this, not even an email confirming the win - followed up with them and still haven't heard anything. It's not great, the lack of communication.

Just an update on my previously mentioned situation. Spoke to D4, then paddy got it sorted, was refunded half the prize pool.

you literally fill out a small form and sign it and get your photo taken, that's it

You're then given a membership card. It's very straight forward. only thing is you need to do this before buying in.
