    109xx Badugi Hand

Seeing as there hasn't been a hand posted here for 17 months, sure why not!

Just ticking along for a little less than hour. Strangely enough, nobody seems too bad at the table.

    MP: t6190 61.90 BBs

    Pre Draw: (1.5 SB) Hero is UTG with T 9 7 3

SB draws 1, BB stands pat, Hero stands pat
    Hand: T 9 7 3
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks

Third Draw: (7.5 BB) (3 players)

    Hand: T 9 7 3

Pre: Raise obviously, but should i be capping when the SB 3bets?
1st: I'm expecting SB to have some type of 6xxx 3 card hand as he seems ok, so he has 7 outs (which is about 42% to improve and beat my hand, or 51% improve so still win 9% when he improves). It would be a ridiculous spot for BB to snow, so he has a badugi and i'm think it's something similar to my hand, maybe 9xxx but probably a worse hand.
2nd & 3rd: Should i be betting both, and bet folding to a SB raise?

I think i miss value by not betting both streets, or is check behind on either street ok and try to get to a relatively cheap showdown (1500 in pot, 4600 behind)?

I'm a little rusty because it's been a while since i played but doing a bit of work and not playing anything else, so fired it up on the side!

Note that I play badugi about 3 times a year during these PS events!

By not capping pre and raising after the 1st draw it feels you are playing your cards virtually face up - a medium value badugi. By capping it gives you more options on the later streets. I don't think the BB bets after 1st draw so your subsequent bet would feel stronger - and I would then continue betting after 2nd draw and check back after 3rd draw.

As played after the check on 2nd draw and check in to you after 3rd draw I bet for value.
