    Setting up a VPN

Hey, looking to set up a VPN or something so I can 'watch RTE online'() while in vegas and elsewhere. Anyone have a step by step guide of what's required? From googling it seems I need to have a PC switched on and connected to a router here 24/7, unless I misunderstood.

Is it also possible to play online poker from the US using a VPN?

Realistically are 99% of former non high profile pros doing this in the states now just get an address in Canada/Mexico and play from where they live using a VPN?

I was thinking about this, surely what will happen though is that at the high levels only the pros will bother, which means that they will only be left to play against each other with far less fish. Hardly ideal for them?

eh...this makes no sense at all really. There is still the rest of the world to play with

Edit: should probably mention that there is a limit where guys are known anyway so id be thinking 10-20 and lower really is where this may apply to. I bet there is a lot of 2=2rs who are sorry they became such public figures with outing there SNs.

Still there's a lot of US fish that will no longer be playing. The games will defo be tougher at those stakes, surely?

Not that sure really i guess it was never easy for US fish to play in the last few years. Im not really knowledgeable enough in the subject to do anymore than speculate.

Neither am I obv, but that was my first thought. I was playing live yesterday in a US casino and they seemed to be thinking the same at the table.
