    Rush Final table spot

Down to 6 handed last night and I'm sitting on 18BB. Player to my right had opened 7 of the last 10 hands.

I've AQo in the cutoff and he again opens for 2x UTG(he has 22BB). I 3bet shoved and he quickly folded.

    Question is this:

In this spot, is AQo too good of a hand to 3bet a player like above? Given that he's opening range is very wide would a call have been a little better on the EV side of things?

Looking back I think that if had just called he was going to fire on the flop no matter what and then I could have shoved.

I know 18BB is a reship stack in this situation but I might have extracted some more value from a player like this if I played if differently.

    Appreciate any thoughts.

You only have Ace high. A ship is fine and the most +EV way to play it

Completely standard. If someone is opening 70% of pots you should be 3betting much wider than just AQo style premiums as they're going to be raise folding a huge amount.

you pick up 3.5bbs + Antes to add onto your 18bb stack when/if he folds and we absolutely crush his opening and calling range.

Can't think of any other way to play this.

It's also a ship for this reason... he is opening any 2 cards and knows how to be aggressive preflop late on ft, so he will be calling you alot lighter here too... anything from kq off to any Arag, this is why we always shove!!... along with taking blinds and antes etc.

I think that your play is fine if you want to go fora win.In hand with TT he could also push weaker pairs than your considering his stack size an your late open.I know 18BB is a reship stack in this situation but I might have extracted some more value from a player like this if I played if differently.

You will miss the flop 2/3rds of the time so what will your plan be if it comes T85r, call down cause hes opening wide? Shoving pre is the only real option AINEC.
