    Lent

Going to give a personal blog a go for the period of lent. Mini challenge for myself.

Had always been pretty active sports wise, and that fell by the way side the last 4 years or so due to poker and mainly laziness. A few prop bets with mates have got me back into it, but apart from that ive been injured pretty soon after coming back to play anything serious due to not looking after myself.

So challenge im setting is to have one activity a day for every day of lent. Whether this is a run around the block ( 15 mins so id have to do two in the day) or a gym visit, astro game or footy training or game itself Ill make myself do this.

Im not going to be unrealistic and try and give up drink or anything silly. Perhaps cut down a little, and will certainly try to eat healthier.

Will probably post my start weight here, and just mention briefly what activity i did each day.

Hopefully it will make productivity during the day a lot higher and that it will be a positive thing all round

I'll be keeping it very boring with updates, unless anything anyone actually wants to know.
Also anyone who has done something like this, tips would be appreciated!!

    here goes!!!

Despite what the masses think, Lent isn't 40 days long.
It's 46 days long, I hope your goal this does not prevent

Doing something like this myself for the first time during lent.
Few of us in work have given up chocolate/crisps/take aways and fizzy drinks.
Forfeit for eating any of the above is €10 all money goes to Cheeverstown. Only time you can have a fizzy drink is with an alcoholic drink and you can go for a meal like Chinese or Indian but you can't get a delivery. Probably going to cost me a fortune.

Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation that provides a wide range of residential, respite and day services to almost 400 children and adults with an intellectual disability in Templeogue and throughout various community locations in South Dublin. We provide a wide range of services in our endeavours to fulfil our mission of enabling all people with an intellectual disability to have full and meaningful lives through person centered services.

Gl to both of you's on your attempts also! I'm a competitive git and need to challenge myself to do these things otherwise i normally dont (sorry to say).

First session down already, carlisle was hit. not as much fun during the day when its empty with no hotties. Oh the joys of monday evenings in the gym . . .

Weighed in at 96kgs. (well just less but was pretty dehydrated). Not to happy with this weight at all. Had a weight loss with Reilly 110 this time 2 years ago, and i was the same weight, got down to 87kgs but a lot of this was false weight loss.
Hoping to get down to a healthy 92, but would be happy with 90kgs which would mean i could continue the simular routine along with some protein.

You sickos should have a bet on it amongst yourselves for 10$ or something.
1 the weight i get to
                                  2. do i complete the task. Honestly im odds against slightly in this but still very confident of doing it. Just the horrors of a hangover with obstructions to getting to the gym or whatever may be the deal breaker - but we'll see
