How to make a Gif?

I am terrible with most technology, does anyone know

a website where i can make a gif

that has

a) no logos for the website on the gif after you make it
b) step by step instructions on how to make the gif

Any help appreciated

Depends what you need.

Most are created using Photoshop/Image Ready/GIMP, which allows you more control - do you have photoshop?

no dont have photoshop, will check out that site

GIMP is freeware.
I have a guide at home, if I remember I'll post if up tonight

Firstly you will need a bit of software called ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR It's about forty quid....

First step is to open your AVI file



Find your file and choose the duration option



Pick where you want the gif to start and end and press OK.



Now you have a gif, a big one.



You need to resize it.



You have your very own gif, it takes 2 minutes.
