So this kicks off on 17th April and it's a 32 player event, so looking for up to 32 players to take part. It will be run slightly different to a regular sweepstakes. All players will be put into a virtual hat and drawn randomly so that much is the same. It will be $20 a player that will need to be transferred before the start of play. I wont be using my accounts, so hopefully someone cant setup, or offer their poker accounts as escrow.
The money will be split 70/30 for winner/runner up so it will be $448/$192 based on a full 32 players. There will also be a forfeit on every match thats played.
The loser of each tie, will send the winner $15. If the losing player has a higher rank than the winning player, this must be doubled to $30. As each player can only lose once, the max spend is $20 entry fee + $30 match loss.
e.g
John Higgins (1) v Barry Hawkins (17)
Mark King (16) v Steve Davis (23)
if Higgins beats Hawkins and Davis beats King, then Hawkins owed Higgins $15 and King owes Davis $30
However the winning player has a possibility to scoop $30 per game, which could be as much as 5 x $30 plus the $448 first priZe (damn button not working)
This will continue for every round up to and including the final.
